Throw a Christmas Ornament Exchange Party

Celebrate the holidays with a festive party that your guests will remember. A Christmas ornament exchange party is a great way to give and receive a unique Christmas ornaments. The exchange is a fun party activity in itself and each guest will be excited to leave with a charming memento.

Instructions: Ask each guest to bring a wrapped ornament within a specified price range.  Assign a number to each wrapped ornament when each guest arrives and at the same time give each guest a number. Be sure the number is not the same number that is attached to the package they brought. Each person takes a turn opening the package which corresponds to their number.
 
Offer door prizes for the best or most unique ornament. Decorate with poinsettias, miniature Christmas trees, bowls of candy, garland, and nutcrackers. Set up small finger foods station and serve spring rolls, miniature quiches and sliders.  In addition, provide festive drinks like apple cider or eggnog and treats like Christmas cookies or fruitcake. Play festive holiday music and let the exchange begin.
